I’m Kostiantyn (Constantine), and I know what it’s like to work an 11-hour kitchen shift with dull knives. Since I was 19, I’ve worked as a chef in various restaurants, cafes, and hotels, and the same problem was everywhere: dull knives. Taking care of them always fell to the chefs, distracting us from more important tasks. And if an owner did get them sharpened, it was a huge hassle: wasted time, travel expenses, and, most importantly, kitchen downtime.

That's why I created TetsuEdge. My mission is to ensure you never have to worry about dull knives again.

We offer subscriptions for every need, from a small team of 3 chefs and 2 prep cooks to large establishments.


 

Our Technology: Gentle Sharpening, Flawless Results

 

Many sharpening services use high-speed sand belt grinders that run dry, causing the blade to overheat. For me, this is unacceptable. Overheated steel loses its properties, and the knife dulls faster. At TetsuEdge, we care about the quality of your knives.

We use the Swedish-made Tormek T-8 machine, which features low-speed grinding and a water-cooling system. This technology allows us to:

  • Preserve the quality and hardness of the steel.

  • Deliver an incredibly sharp edge.

  • Extend the life of your knives.
